Atty. Matba manages the daily operations of the firm. He handles expropriation, civil and criminal litigation, and labor and employment matters. He represented the office of Hon. Senator Francis Joseph G. Escudero to the Board of Trustees of the Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC) from September 2022 to May 2024. Prior to joining the firm, he was engaged in his own private practice while serving as the Chief Political Affairs Officer (Chief of Staff) of the Lone Congressional District of Tawi-Tawi from July 2019 to June 2022. Atty. Matba was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2019. He earned his political science and law degrees from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

ATTY. JUSTIN CAESAR ANTHONY D. BATOCABE

Atty. Batocabe is a partner currently on leave due to his appointment as a Director in the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Director Batocabe is involved with the DSWD Academy, one of the flagship projects of the current administration, which aims to provide specialized training, capacity-building activities, and other learning development interventions to social workers and paraprofessionals. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate with Gorriceta Africa Cauton & Saavedra, practicing litigation, corporate servicing, and real estate law. Atty. Batocabe was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2017. He received his economics (cum laude) and law degrees from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

ATTY. ELIZABETH JOY D. CORTEZ

Atty. Cortez has extensive experience in family law, civil and criminal litigation, and expropriation. She also has experience handling labor concerns of corporate clients. Prior to joining the firm, she was engaged as an in-house lawyer for a trading corporation. When she was in law school, she competed in local and international moot court competitions such as the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition, FDI Moot Court Competition, Pan-Asian Human Rights Moot Court Competition, and Teehankee Moot Court Competition when she was in law school. Atty. Cortez was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. She earned her communications degree from the University of Santo Tomas and her law degree from Arellano University.

ATTY. JANE IRISH B. GALICIA

Atty. Galicia worked as an in-house lawyer and corporate compliance officer for a telecommunications company prior to joining the firm. She handled the corporate and labor matters of the company. She is also a member-volunteer of the Legal Aid Society of the Philippines. Atty. Galicia also participated in the 2017 UN Friendship Assembly held in New York City, USA Atty. Galicia was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2023. She took political science degree from the University of Sto. Tomas and her law degree from De La Salle University.

ATTY. ZOILO M. MANAHAN II

Of Counsel

Atty. Manahan is the former Managing Partner of the firm. Prior to joining, he worked with the law firm of Sobreviñas Hayudini Navarro & San Juan. His areas of practice include labor law, litigation, and real estate transactions. Atty. Manahan earned his law degree from the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law in 2015 and was admitted to the Bar in 2016. He holds a bachelor's degree in Humanities from the University of Asia and the Pacific and a master's degree in Industrial Economics from the same university.

ATTY. PAUL HEHERSON M. BALITE

Atty. Balite is a lawyer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from the National Institute of Physics, a Master of Technology Management degree from the Technology Management Center, and a Juris Doctor degree from the UP College of Law, all from UP Diliman. He is formerly the Deputy Executive Director of the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) the national association of electric cooperatives all over the archipelago and formerly Deputy Director of the Senate Committee on Energy. He is presently Chief of Staff of a member of the House of Representatives. He is currently on leave and pursuing a degree under the Master of Law in International Dispute Resolution program of Queen Mary University of London.

ATTY. GINO L.S. PAJE

Atty. Paje is an environmental and natural resources regulation and litigation attorney. Since 2010, Atty. Paje has served the Department of Environment and Natural Resources under various capacities. As a working law student, he was a technical assistant at the Office of the Secretary, and then Special Investigator II under the Litigation and Prosecution Division of the Legal Affairs Service (LAS). He held the position of Special Investigator III at the Legal Crisis Prevention and Management Division of the LAS when he passed the bar. He now holds the position of Attorney III under the same division. Concurrently, he serves as President of the DENR Employees Union, the public sector trade union of the DENR Central Office. A prolific writer, Atty. Paje submitted contributions to national print and online publications, and over the years, published a dozen articles for the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Rappler. He earned his journalism degree from Bicol University and his law degree from Arellano University.

ATTY. MARISOL M. BOISER

Consultant

Atty. Boiser is a consultant and counsel of the firm. She was formerly the Managing Partner from 2018 to 2021.  She was a scholar of the Philippine National Police and has a degree in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctor with San Sebastian College Recoletos – Manila and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2014. She is currently taking up an LLM on Internatioinal Law Studies with her alma mater.
